“I, me, my, Bethan” refers to Bethan Morgan-Williams. References to “the Site” are to the website with the domain name bethanmorganwilliams.com
Your personal information is important to me and I will endeavour to take all due care to protect this information in accordance with the applicable Data Protection legislation, for the purposes of which I am the data controller.
This Privacy Notice should be read in conjunction with my Terms and Conditions. By accessing and using the Site you are agreeing with the Terms and Conditions of Use and with this Privacy Notice.
What personal information do I collect?
Information that you give me includes: your name, email address, billing information and delivery addresses.
Information that is automatically collected through the use of cookies.
All payment transactions are run through the Stripe secure payment system (for which purposes Stripe is my data processor). I do not store any card details but can access transaction records to confirm payments.
What is the information used for?
If you contact me with an enquiry, I will process the personal information that you provide, including your name and e-mail address, on the basis that it is necessary for the legitimate interests I have in promoting my music.
If you order music from me, I will process your personal information on the basis that it is necessary to do so for the successful delivery of your items.
Who do I share your information with?
Information associated with orders placed on the Site is passed to a third party payment-processing company (Stripe) and to PMBS Music Printing for the purposes of fulfilling your order.
Cookie information is passed in aggregate to the servers operated by Google Inc. so that I can use Google Analytics software to analyse user numbers and patterns. No personal information is associated with the cookie information.
I may disclose your personal data if I need to do so in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation or request, or where I have a legitimate interest in doing so, such as in order to enforce or apply our contract, to investigate potential breaches, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Bethan Morgan-Williams. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Apart from the instances set out above, I will never sell, distribute or disclose any of your personal information with any third party.
How long do I keep personal information for?
I will not retain your data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this Notice.
Different retention periods apply for different types of data, however the longest I will normally hold any personal data (names/addresses) is six years, as required by HMRC.
Can I prevent any information being collected about me?
Yes. You do not need to provide any personal information in order to use the Site. I only require personal information when you make a purchase on the Site or when you choose to get in touch via the contact form.
You can disable the cookies in your browser and this will prevent the Site from using the data string. Consult the Help file in your browser software for details.
Please be aware that a number of features of the Site use cookies. If you disable cookies in your browser these features may not operate as intended or at all.
