Commission from the BBC/London Symphony Orchestra to write a piece for viola (Antoine Tamestit) and percussion (Colin Currie), as part of Radio 3’s Lunchtime Concert Series.

“The new piece – Dog in the Moon – is dedicated to my late dog Hettie, who was taken suddenly from us in January 2020. The pitch content is derived from a poem by Dylan Thomas – Clown in the Moon – and the rhythmic material is influenced by the same text.” – Bethan Morgan-Williams
