Martin is a colleague who has helped with matters concerning guitar notation in the past. Bethan is in the process of writing him a piece as a way of acknowledging his guidance. 

The piece – as yet unnamed – traverses the limits of series counterpoint in conjunction with non-octave repeating scales.
